Confirmed: President Mwai Kibaki visited Uganda
Last updated : 15 Jan 2008, Kampala

Radio Katwe has done its cross checking and can now confirm to its readers that President Mwai Kibaki the Kenyan head of state (a title in hot dispute) paid a surprise visit to Uganda last Thursday.

Rumours have been in Kampala that Kibaki visited his fellow dictator Yoweri Museveni but we could not confirm them at first. Now we have seen concrete evidence that Kibaki was in Uganda.

Many Ugandans are worried by why Kibaki chose to come to Uganda at a time when Kenya is in big problems. They are worried that Kibaki might have got to Uganda to consult a man who besides other titles like elections stealer, and serial breaker of Agreements between conflicting parties, is most well known as veteran of genocide against civilians.

Recently we saw pictures of youths in Kenya carrying machetes (pangas) and it brought back memories of the pangas used in the Rwandan Genocide. We earlier wrote about a truck full of new pangas that was taken from Uganda to Rwanda just before the terrible genocide there.

We have not got any news about what they discussed but when the most powerful and corrupt men get together to strike deals, the people of East Africa should get worried.

Foul play is being suspected between Museveni and Kibaki.

Ugandan security forces were in Kenya after the rigged election
Last updated : 15 Jan 2008, Kampala
We are able to confirm to you after checking the facts on the ground in Kisumu that Museveni and President Kibaki were in cahoots in the chaos that engulfed our neighbours after the rigged Kenyan election. We cannot yet tell when or from which source in Kenya the initiative originated, but somehow Museveni summoned General David Tinyefuza his intelligence supremo and gave him the task of planning the mission.

Tinyefuza assembled some spies of the ESO and ISO and they moved in. Military Police were also involved and when they reached the border crossing at Busia, they removed their red toupees and donned the uniform of Kenya’s GSU security force.

The Kenya High Commission in Nakasero a suburb of Kampala, coordinated the part of giving diplomatic cover to the Ugandan hooligans. Tinyefuza set up a command and control centre at Tororo and there was also a post at Busia. The official cover was to monitor the security situation.

We shall be giving you more details when our sources who also went into Kenya under secret cover to investigate Museveni’s bloody hand in the Kenya election, have put together their reports.

It was a real risk. One of our informers almost got caught but God was on his side and our last contact with him says he is okay. Lets give him some time to write a report of what he saw there, then we shall put it on Radio Katwe.

There are senior politicians in Kenya who have vowed to punish Museveni for what he did. We hope they will see the difference between ordinary Ugandans and the evil mafia government of M7.

To the readers of this website, please vigorously investigate the presence of Ugandan troops on Kenyan soil as reported in article from The Standard (below). Where were these military uniforms going? What is the Kenyan military doing allowing Uganda’s army in the country? Has Kenyan military conceded the Western, Rift Valley and Nyanza province to
the Ugandan government? Are these provinces NOT being protected by Kenya’s army now? What is the President of Uganda doing in these so-called mediation meetings if his troops are stationed on Kenyan soil?

One thing that all Kenyans should agree on is keeping the integrity of our country without the presence of foreign troops.

Are the lives of people in these three provinces NOT worth protecting by Kenyan government and the army? Writers and readers of this website should seriously look into the issue of Uganda army into this country and bring everything to light. The Standard article provides a good beginning to start to the investigation. I know Uganda’s Foreign
Minister and President have gone on record stating that “they don’t have troops in Kenya”. It is time for Kenya’s government to tell the public where these uniforms and other contents in the lorry were going. Teso OCPD, Mr. Joseph Kiget, whom I guess is a Kenyan law enforcement officer admitted to witnessing these things. Kenya’s people should NOT rely on the denial of the President of Uganda and his Foreign Minister on this
issue. We Kenyans needs to hear from our government.

http://www.eastandard.net/news/?id=1143980835&cid=4

Ugandan army uniforms found

Published on January 24, 2008, 12:00 am

By Robert Wanyonyi

Tension remained high at Malaba border after residents impounded a lorry full of Ugandan military uniforms.

The residents stopped the lorry, registration number KAV 018T, headed to the customs department and demanded to view its contents.

The besieged driver pleaded with the residents to let him pass as rowdy youths threatened to lynch him.

The angry mob was in the process of setting the lorry ablaze when riot police arrived.

Amid shouts of, “Open it, open it!” the residents almost overpowered the police, prompting Teso OCPD, Mr Joseph Kiget, to order the driver to open up the cargo.

Councillor Chrisantus Kipala, of Malaba Central Ward, and a few other people boarded the lorry to verify the items as residents cheered and broke into songs.

Pairs of Ugandan military uniforms and caps with State emblems were fished out of the boxes.

“Now you can relax because you have seen what the lorry is carrying. You can now let the driver proceed with his journey,” the OCPD told the crowd.

The residents told /The Standard/ they will keep vigil at the boarder and are demanding an explanation from the Government about the Ugandan military uniforms.

Kenyan customs officials at the border declined to talk to journalists regarding the matter.

Ugandan security officials who had crossed the border to receive the consignment disappeared on realising the arrival of the KTN camera crew.

Tension has been high in western Kenya following rumours that Ugandan soldiers are in the country.

The soldiers were said to have headed to Nyanza, Western and Rift Valley provinces, where violence broke out after President Kibaki was declared the winner in last year’s discredited General Election.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has gone on record, saying he did not help President Kibaki in his controversial re-election.

The Ugandan Electoral Commission also denied having played a part in the tallying of presidential results.

Museveni also attributed the post-election violence to the Electoral Commission of Kenya.

Museveni is in the country as part of a mediation team.

Mr. Museveni visited the United States shortly before the elections. On his visit he is said to have had some tea with George Bush. Among the things discussed was the Kenyan election and Museveni’s nightmare, Amolo Odinga.

Mr. Odinga’s utterances during last year’s campaign to the effect that he would demand for the return of Kenyans suspected of terrorism, may have rubbed someone the wrong way. It’s for this reason that only two people congratulated Kibaki on his theft. The US later withdrew their congratulatory message, but the damage had been done.

Any Kenyan with any sense would have seen this for what it is. The US obviously did not anticipate the violence that followed the rigged elections. It’s this that prompted the withdrawal of their kudos message.

If you have been watching the news lately, you may have noticed how nonchalant Mr. Ranneberger has been about pressuring the Kibaki gang to resolve the status quo. The EU seems to disagree with the US on this matter as they seem to have put more pressure on the government even threatening to cut funds.

Fellow patriots, if you ask me this thing has US written all over it!

    Date: Wed, 16 Jan 2008 17:53:30 -0800 (PST)

The Museveni Mystery

My fellow Kenyans, before I proceed to say anything on these pages, please understand and respect my opinions on the understanding that I also respect yours.

If any of you have been mystified by the recent theatrics by our sneaky neighbor M7 (Museveni), then maybe you should read a little into the recent and distant historical events. Maybe then you would be able to understand exactly what is going on. Already I can tell that my article will be a little longer than I intended.

Luos are arguably the largest single group in Eastern Africa. If you consider all the ethnic groups that comprise the Luo family, you will find them in Southern Sudan, Northern Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. They include the Lango, Teso, and Acholi among others. This being the case, a Luo leadership in any part of East Africa will be a political nightmare for any dictator in the region.

Kaguta has been fighting the Lord’s Resistance Army since 1987. The movement, an Acholi outfit was founded and led by one Joseph Kony. The fight with Kony has caused Museveni embarrassment and was a political liability that was impossible to surmount. A war almost broke out between Uganda and the DRC due to LRA’s hiding in DRC.

LRA in southern Sudan

The LRA is known to have received shelter from the Government of Southern Sudan. This caused tension between Southern Sudan and the Khartoum Islamist Government. Khartoum as you may guess has never been pleased about the newfound freedom of the south (Luos). As a result the south could not help but offer only minimal help to the LRA.

During this period, the man in Charge in Southern Sudan was John Garang, a Dinka, and leader of the south’s Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA). He once was Vice President and later president of Southern Sudan.

Garang mysteriously died July 2005 in a plane crash on his way home from Uganda. Many a finger, including that of some Ugandans, has pointed in Museveni’s direction. Museveni has of course continuously denied any part in Garang’s death. The truth will however be known one day.

Museveni has for this reason, like any self respecting dictator, been paranoid and acted against any perceived threat ruthlessly. Some of our brothers in Kenya have paid with their lives for the man’s discomfort. The Karamojong in Northeastern are a testament to this fact. Our president as usual, had no testicular fortitude to even ask what was going on.

A Raila Connection?

Now my friends, this is where the connection, in my opinion, with the rais comes. The president of this country (read true president) His Excellency Raila Amolo Odinga, as you all know is an ardent fighter not only for the rights of Luos but also that of Kenyans. He has been vocal about the atrocities against Kenyan fishermen who have been arrested for no reason by the Ugandan Police for allegedly straying into Ugandan waters. Among other things Agwambo, if none of you has noticed, is a LUO. A word that Museveni is never comfortable with. You may be aware of the amount of “chapni” that he has done since wuod oganda showed interest in the presidency. He has flown many miles, as far as the U.S to consult Bush on his nightmares, in which Agwambo has prominently featured. What he doesn’t know is that he is not the only one who has suffered this fate.

Museveni was unaware that all men who step in Agwambo’s path are invariably crushed. We of course, knowing better, can forgive his error of judgment.

Museveni’s Nightmare

Why is Museveni so threatened by Raila? Do they have any history together? Why would Museveni rush to Kenya Silently to give Uncle Moody an award so suddenly? And belatedly at that? In my opinion, he feels threatened by the Luo coming to power in Kenya for one main reason. Seeing how the Sudanese were quick to come to the rescue of the Ugandan brothers (LRA), he fears that should a Luo come to power in Kenya he may not be able to Use his military in response. Ugandan military power is at best useless in the face of our disciplined forces.

Even though some would argue that Kenyan military power is untested, I don’t think anyone in the region is really willing to test it. Unless of course they have a death wish. What’s more Kenya needs not retaliate militarily. We could simply cut off fuel and other essential supplies that come through Kenya that Uganda desperately needs. We would simply starve them into surrender!

After Museveni came to power, he suffered a sudden bout of arthritis that has apparently stopped him from leaving the seat of power. It’s for this reason that he is so excited to see a fellow arthritic and would like to make friends.

Agwambo, once known as Railus Odingasis, has this effect on many it seems.

Let’s give him some time to write a report of what he saw there, then we shall put it on Radio Katwe.

There are senior politicians in Kenya who have vowed to punish Museveni for what he did. We hope they will see the difference between ordinary Ugandans and the evil mafia government of M7.

Date: Mon, 14 Jan 2008 22:39:52 -0800 (PST)

Time has come when all Kenyans, irrespective of your work station, must come out and add some input into the struggle.

The Armed Forces, being Kenyans as well, are intelligent enough to have seen how Kibaki stole our election, and then propped his reign by bringing the police out in the streets.

It becomes worse when marauding forces from Uganda join in and kill our people. The Armed Forces must step in and safe guard the lives of Kenyans, if the police have been compromised.

I understand the police were paid Kshs 600 million [blood money] for putting out the demonstrations the other week.

Oto

———————

Coalition Constitution Reform wrote:

The pressure continues to pile on the illegitimate regime in Kenya.

It is now emerging that the Ugandan army men are actually in Western Kenya (Western and Nyanza)and there are many more that have been sourced from that country (about 3,000) to prop up Kibaki, just incase.

You may be wondering why Michuki is now taking a hardline stance. At the rate things are going, we may be headed for a military solution. We are made to understand that Kibaki and his ilk had to seek the assistance of Museveni when the Kenya army defied orders to go out of the barracks to go and quell the civil unrest.

The rumour that General Kianga, Chief of General Staff (CGS) had resigned is no rumour. He did resign following a disagreement on how things were being done at Department of Defence army headquarters. He could not take it any more, that his junior a Gen.Njoroge was giving orders to the army and bypassing him!

However, on the other hand, the pro-ODM army units who are a majority were of the resolved opinion that should General Kianga quit and Gen.Njoroge take over as CGS then the army was bound to do something nasty.

It left the Kibaki group with no option but to plead with Gen.Kianga to stay on for another two or three months while they sorted things out. Gen Kianga has never categorically denied this allegation that he had resigned. Something he should have done were it not true.

If you did not know, Raila is most popular presidential material among the military ranks and
police.

Based on these facts and a myriad other complications relating to the armed units of the country, the Uganda army is the only option and Museveni is more than willing to assist Kibaki having played the same game himself.

This development of inviting Uganda army into Kenya has irked the Kenya army so much and it may be one point for which they may never forgive Kibaki.

Real statesmen in Africa are far in between. Museveni, Moi and Kibaki do not qualify one iota.

The Michuki and Karua group were counting on the US support militarily and diplomatically, but with shifting of alliances and the firm position taken by the US government end of last week, they are feeling lost.

In the `mwoto mwoto;chini kwa chini’ news networks, it is also emerging that Kibaki was sworn in at 2.00pm. What happened at 4:45pm as televised by KBC was a recorded version.

You doubt that? Watch that clip again and check out the shadows.

The Law Society of Kenya and the Kenya Human Rights Commission are so right in raising the issues relating to these illegality of Kibaki being in office.

And for the Wananchi, they are arguing (and rightfully so) that since the national anthem was not played when Kibaki was sworn in, he is not president yet.

I also read this observation in the press the other day that Kibaki did the wrong thing by not handing back the army sword that symbolizes state power before the winner of the election was announced. The army failed in its responsibility or was General Kianga frustrated?

In essence, what should have happened is that starting from the first date of the election period, Kibaki is supposed to have handed over the instruments of power as CIC to General Kianga. Very much the same way it was done during the Moi – NARC transition. General
Kibwana handled this very well, picture perfect.

General Kianga would have then handed over the instruments of Commander in Chief of the army to the winner of the election upon announcement of the winner by ECK. Thus, the ECK alerts the army boss, the army boss gets the parade and band ready. The instruments are then transferred formally at a designated ceremony.

But we are dealing with `wakora’ here.

When Raila talks of a civilian coup de tat, many do not fathom the weightiness of that statement.

Kibaki and his ilk should know he is in quicksand.

Kenya is experiencing the biggest travesty of the law like no other ion the whole world!

The law apart, procedure was not followed.

Should the East Africa Court have been well in place, in power and structure; these are the kinds of issues that such an institution would handle.(Kenya Election Debacle)

We have every reason to holler good people!

Give up? Never; we won’t!

Sande

— End forwarded message —

CCR-Kenya brings together organizations and individuals who believe that for Kenya to truly attain genuine democratic liberation, comprehensive constitutional reforms must be completed before any elections. The coalition works to raise awareness to bring pressure on the ruling class to allow Kenyans to reform the constitution before another election. To read the CCR Roadmap for Constitutional Reforms, click: http://www.ccr-kenya.com. The struggle henceforth, is between “those who, satisfied with today, would make an effort to delay the future as much as possible, to put up obstacles against any substantive change, and those who, exploited today, aspire to a new reality.”Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the Heart, (1997), (p53).
